Custom Jobs: Critical Laser is equipped and eager to handle all kinds of prototyping projects. We enjoy the challenge of assisting in the development of new products and aiding in their successes. The industries that we have helped in prototyping include: recreation vehicles, automotive, construction equipment, mining, and even furniture.
Endless Possibilities: At Critical Laser we take pride in our ability to cut almost anything. We can cut wood and plastic from paper thin to 2” thick, and we can cut any metal up to 1” mild steel, 3/4” stainless, and 1/2” aluminum.”
Highlights: Critical Laser has been providing exceptional laser cutting services for over a decade. During this time we have worked on thousands of projects for a wide range of industries. Highlights have included the State Capital renovations in 2007, the water fountain at the Gateway for the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City; in addition we have projects overseas in Iraq, and Porto Rico.
At Critical laser we know the importance of having good equipment. We are equipped with two top-of-the line Mitsubishi lasers and two Bystronic laser systems. While one Bystronic gives us incredible cutting power & unmatched processing speeds the other boasts the largest cutting table available. The Mitsubishi’s give us precision that is hard to duplicate with newer equipment, enabling us to cut taller odd shaped materials such as computer boxes or square tubing and all types of plastic and wood. If lasers can cut it we can cut it here!
Bystronic Byspeed 3015: This is a 4500 watt cutting laser with two 5’x10’ beds and is built for speed to cut production size orders. Our Byspeed is equipped with a Bytrans automation system allowing us to more efficiently get through the large jobs fast.
Bystronic 4020: This is our most powerful laser, featuring a 3500 watt resonator and two 6.5’ x 13.5’ cutting beds. This laser gives us the ability to cut thicker and larger pieces of material. Cutting capabilities include:
Mitsubishi 3015: Featuring a 1600 watt resonator and a 5’ x 10’ cutting table. This laser gives us the ability to create clean fine tuned cuts in a variety of materials. Cutting capabilities include:
Mitsubishi 2512: Our very first CNC machine boasting 1600 watts and a 4’ x 8’ cutting bed. This Laser allows an amazing 12” of Z height allowing for large tubes, and boxes. Cutting capabilities include:
